My Approach
I believe healing happens in safe, attuned relationship. When you feel seen and understood, not judged or rushed. From that place of safety you can begin responding differently to yourself or others. My approach blends trauma-informed care, mindfulness and somatic awareness, CBT tools for practical change, and deeper psychodynamic exploration of long-standing patterns.
Some days we focus on emotional regulation and coping tools. Other days we gently explore the roots of patterns that keep resurfacing. We move at your pace, honoring your nervous system and your story. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping you understand yourself more fully, strengthen your capacity to respond instead of react, and create relationships that feel safer and more connected. With couples, I integrate Gottman-informed and EFT techniques to help partners move from reactivity toward connection.
Outside of my work, I’m drawn to reading, swimming, music, and creative expression. These practices help me stay grounded and reflective, qualities that support the presence I bring into therapy. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can see if we’re a good fit.
